Bluetooth

A wireless communication technology for portable information devices. It employs the 2.4GHz frequency band and has a range of about 10 to 100 meters. The maximum data speed is about 2 to 3 Mbps. Communication is not blocked by obstacles, as the signal is omnidirectional. It also can be used for mobile phone handsets to connect to a personal computer or to earphone / microphones.
