ASESS

Adaptive selection of surviving symbol replica candidate. A variation of QRM-MLD and an algorithm developed by NTT DOCOMO for use in MIMO (Multiple-Input Multiple-Output) space division multiplexing. Using ASESS in the computation for separating signals reduces the computational load by a factor of 1 to 290 million relative to MLD and 1 to 15 relative to QRM-MLD.
